My Approach

I offer an open minded, warm, solution focused approach that highlights and builds on who you are and on solutions that are unique and tailored to your individual needs and qualities.

I believe that change happens with the right support and tools.

My goal is to be both warm and authentic, to reflect and validate your thoughts and feelings, while also creating an environment that is focused on your strengths and goals.

Clients have shared that they feel I’m easy to talk to which helped them to stay motivated.

My Speciality

My primary specialty is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), which is an evidence based therapy approach. The focus of CBT is to identify and reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and learn helpful skills to work towards what’s most important to you.

What to Expect

One goal of the first session is to establish a comfortable, non-judgmental space where you can share a comprehensive history of your unique life experiences.

I will work with you to identify your strengths and also what’s brought you in to see me. I’ll give you some background and education on what therapy can do for you and what you can expect from me.

By the end of our session, we would have identified goals, barriers, and symptoms that are impacting your life and a clear direction on next steps in working together. The first session is the first step toward change and I would love to be the person who empowers and promotes positive change in your life!
